Rachal Rossi, FNP

Family Nurse Practitioner

Rachal was drawn to healthcare after both of her grandparents fell ill. In 2009, her grandfather was cared for by a compassionate nursing staff and was inspired to become a nurse. She began classes soon after his bout with cancer. A couple of years later, her grandma also became ill and was blessed with an amazing nurse practitioner who made her feel love and hope. At that point, Rachal knew, without a doubt, that she wanted to help others feel that same hope in the face of their chronic illnesses. By 2012, she was a nurse on the surgical floor while studying for her family nurse practitioner (FNP) master’s degree, which she accomplished in 2016.

Working in a very fast-paced urgent care setting exposed her to all types of health issues, both acute and chronic. From there, an ambitious Rachal got curious about the root cause of illness and took a job at the Born Clinic (a preventative health clinic) in Grand Rapids, MI. She was nearby thanks to her husband’s orthopedic fellowship opportunity. There, she would discover her passion for integrative medicine while learning about the root causes of disease processes. Now, she works hard to bridge her knowledge between modern and alternative medicine.

Before becoming a mom to four sweet babies, Rachal scuba dove the Great Barrier Reef in Australia and New Zealand. She and her husband, Doug, love vacations and bonfires with family. Rachal is ecstatic to bring her experience and knowledge to the Ideal Health & Wellness family!

I love being able to help patients who have exhausted every avenue with traditional medicine feel better by digging into the root cause of their illness. Together, we put the puzzle back together so they are able to regain their quality of life.
