Dr. Frega and Dr. Eustace begin with a comprehensive evaluation focused on the triad of systems; adrenals, thyroid, and ovaries. This evaluation includes an in-depth health history and exam and may require blood and saliva tests in order to get a complete picture. Back pain is a common complaint during pregnancy. Dr. Frega, who is certified in Webster technique (as is Dr. Campbell), focuses treatment on the muscular components of the low back and pelvic area. As the baby grows, there are numerous changes the woman’s body goes through in order to accommodate the growing baby and prepare for the birthing process.
Studies have shown chiropractic care during pregnancy results in decreased labor and delivery times, healthier babies, a reduction in breech babies, decreased pain and discomfort, and reductions in interventions during labor and delivery.
